Frequently asked questions
How are the times calculated?
On your device, with the adhan astronomical library and the method used in your region (for example Kemenag/JAKIM angles in Southeast Asia, ISNA in North America, Diyanet in Turkey). You can change the method.
Is my location stored?
No. Your location is only used in your browser to calculate the times and is not sent to our servers.
Why do the times differ from my mosque?
Mosques may use a different method, add a few minutes of precaution (ihtiyat), or follow an official timetable. For Indonesian and Malaysian cities, our city pages show the official Kemenag and JAKIM times.
