   By (the horses) that charge snorting,

   Fal muuriyaati qadhan

   then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs),

3. 100:3

   Fal mughiiraati shubhan

   then raid by the dawn,

4. 100:4

   Fa-atsarna bihi naq'an

   and blaze a trail of dust,

5. 100:5

   Fawasathna bihi jam'an

   and penetrate deep into a host.

6. 100:6

   Inna-insaana lirabbihi lakanuudun

   Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord;

7. 100:7

   Wa-innahu 'ala dzalika lasyahiidun

   and he himself is a witness to that,

8. 100:8

   Wa-innahu lihubbil khairi lasyadiidun

   and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving.

9. 100:9

   Afalaa ya'lamu idzaa bu' tsira maa fiil qubuur(i)

   Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown;

10. 100:10

    Wahush-shila maa fiish-shuduur(i)

    and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)?

11. 100:11

    Inna rabbahum bihim yauma-idzin lakhabiirun

    Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them.
